Bharat Mata Vandana & Tagore Jayanti — A Celebration to Remember!
By the grace of Maa Durga, SDKKM’s Bharat Mata Vandana & Tagore Jayanti celebration on Saturday, May 9th, 2026 was a resounding success. The event saw a wonderful turnout with devotees, families, and community members coming together in a spirit of joy, devotion, and patriotism.
The program was filled with soulful Rabindra Sangeet, heartfelt poetry recitations, and vibrant cultural performances that beautifully honored the legacy of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. The celebration of Bharat Mata on the eve of Mother’s Day moved many hearts, with stirring patriotic songs and warm expressions of gratitude to our Motherland.
The evening concluded on a delightful note with a spread of delicious prasad and food that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. It was truly a blessed and memorable occasion for the entire Houston community.
